Very few companies exist today without adequate back-office systems
in place, handling financial control. However, such systems typically
do not handle the specific operational areas of a food business.
Having invested heavily in terms of time and money, re-implementation
of an extended financial system is not a realistic option. HTQ’s
policy of co-existence brings forth a simple alternative.
Using various techniques such as ODBC, COM objects or CSV file transfer,
HTQ utilise existing systems providing additional coverage of the
operation.
For example, customers, products and sales orders may currently
be transacted through an accounting package. HTQ can link into these
systems to pick up order details to populate distribution, hand-held
units or business analysis, without the overhead of duplicate sales
order entry.
